The authors are Drs. David S. Herrstrom and Andrew D. Scrimgeour, with a forward by former NJ Governor, Thomas Kean, and Photography by Tom Crane. The publication focuses on the ten monumental stained-glass windows, designed by the nationally known artist Jacob Landau and fabricated by Willet Studios, that declare their glory from the walls of Keneseth Israel synagogue in Elkins Park, a suburb of Philadelphia. They feature 30,000 pieces of glass in 100 colors. Each window is devoted to a biblical prophet. Images from their lives and startlingly re-imagined in ours, intertwine with biblical texts that proclaim the message of Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Amos, and others.
